Educational Objectives

As a result of participation in this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Integrate current basic science, translational and clinical research in orthopedics into the delivery of evidence-based, cost-effective orthopaedic care.
  2. Understand the state of the art in amputation management, including strategies to maximize prosthesis function and minimize post-amputation pain.
  3. Learn about the merits to different techniques in hip preservation, including hip arthroscopy and osteotomies.
