October 7, 2019 - 1st regular email notice to all members on Cycle 1 billing.
October 14, 2019 - 1st dues notice by mail to all members on Cycle 1 billing.
October 28, 2019 - 1st dues notice by Constant Contact email.
November 11, 2019 - 2nd dues notice by mail.
December 9, 2019 - 2nd dues notice by Constant Contact email.

Group Billing
There are a total of 19 practices/institutions that are part of the VOS group billing program. These group accounts represent 328 VOS members. We will continue to pursue group billing to our members through emails, dues notices, Practice Managers and postcards.

Reinstatement Campaign
We have been sending letters and invoices to all lapsed members asking them to renew, highlighting the upcoming meeting and discounted registration fees for members.

New Member Spotlight
We have created the New Member Spotlight (https://www.vos.org/new-member-spotlight/). This spotlight is featured on the VOS website and in newsletters. The New Member Spotlight highlights individual members, their background and what they hope to benefit from their VOS membership. The spotlight offers an opportunity for new members to share their story with colleagues in the orthopaedic community.

Membership Marketing for the Spring meeting
We have created a marketing plan to target non-member registrants for the Spring meeting.

Before the Meeting

Membership Join Cards - Join cards will be placed into every non-member registrant’s badge encouraging them to join VOS. The cards are to be turned in during the meeting.
Emails to Non-Member Registrants - An email to non-member and first-time registrants thanking them for registering for the conference and asking them to join.

During the Meeting

Emails to Non-Member - During the meeting, an email will be sent to non-member registrants thanking them and encouraging them to visit the onsite registration desk to drop off their join cards.
New ’Bee’ - All new members will have “bee” sticker on their badge to recognize them as a new member. All board and committee members are asked to approach any registrant with a “bee” sticker on their badge and thank them for becoming a new member of VOS.

After the Meeting

Follow up Emails to Non-Member Registrants - The week following the meeting, an email will be sent to non-member registrants thanking them and encouraging them to join.
