VCU Resident Reception

On Thursday, October 26, 2017, VOS hosted a resident reception for VCU residents at Triple Crossing Brewery. This pilot program, funded with an AAOS grant, was well attended and we plan to host two additional gatherings in Charlottesville and Roanoke. Dr. Seth Cheatham, VOS President, and Dr. N. Douglas Boardman, AAOS Board of Councilor Representative, presented VOS updates to16 residents and encouraged them to participate in VOS events, such as the Annual Meeting. Cal Whitehead, VOS Lobbyist, updated residents on the latest healthcare issues. Goodies from AAOS and VOS where distributed. A trophy was presented to the team that represented VCU at the VOS 70th Annual Meeting as the winners of the First Annual VOS Quiz Bowl.
