OrthoVirginia, the state’s largest provider of multi-disciplinary musculoskeletal care and therapy, announced that Lynne Robinson and Justin Zakia have been hired as Chief Administrative Officers. Mr. Zakia will be located in northern Virginia, while Ms.Robinson will be based in Richmond.
“We are so pleased to have both Lynne and Justin join us as CAOs of OrthoVirginia,” said Dale Ingram, CEO of OrthoVirginia. “Both bring leadership skills and experience in organizational growth that are essential to our practice as we continue to make quality and efficiency of patient care our top priority.”
Robinson comes to OrthoVirginia from PartnerMD in Richmond, where she served as COO, Chief Relationship Officer and Chief Business Development Officer. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has a degree in business administration from Radford University.
Zakia comes to OrthoVirginia from George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, DC, where he served as Practice Group Administrator. He has a bachelor of science degree in environmental technology from Cornell University and a master of science degree in healthcare delivery science from Dartmouth College.
At OrthoVirginia, Ms. Robinson and Mr. Zakia will provide strategic operational leadership to deliver on the practice’s objectives of providing high quality, cost effective care through innovative orthopedic techniques and care delivery systems. As OrthoVirginia evolves and grows as a company, the CAOs will be instrumental in continuing positive community partnerships, supporting its network of physicians and empowering its teams to continually improve patient care.

OrthoVirginia, announces two new personnel appointments: Karen Simonton is now chief financial officer for OrthoVirginia. She was previously chief administrative officer for the Lynchburg region of OrthoVirginia. Barbie Hayes is now chief administrative officer for the Lynchburg region of OrthoVirginia. She was previously chief operating officer and Epic Project director for OrthoVirginia.

Ms. Simonton is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Lynchburg College.
Ms. Hayes has a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Averett University.
Both appointments were effective February 1, 2018. Ms. Simonton and Ms. Hayes both reside in the Lynchburg area.
