ORTHO-PAC Needs YOUR Support!

The 2021 General Assembly Session adjourned on March 1, 2021. It was again a busy and productive year for VOS and Orthopaedic Surgeons, which successfully advocated for your profession and patients! As always, healthcare policy was a hot topic at the legislature and some of our top priorities this year were protecting the medical malpractice cap, addressing litigation assistance, and scope of practice.

It is critical that the voice of Orthopaedic Surgeons continue to be heard. A strong and robust PAC demonstrates VOS’s leadership and investment in the political and policy process.

2021 is a major election year in Virginia. In addition to the offices of Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General, all 100 seats of the House of Delegates are on the ballot. OrthoPAC helps raise our visibility among policymakers, connects us to new and returning legislators, and enables us to continue to build productive relationships with key General Assembly members and caucus leadership.
